What is new with PowerPoint 2013 templates is that they’re now available with 16:9 aspect ratios, which is the default ratio. More and more monitors and videos are going to wide screen to you and so as power point. You can also change the default wide screen size 16:9 to standard 4:3 using new tab options. Themes in PowerPoint
You’ll find new themes, a design to take advantage of a wide screen. Now themes come with new variants of color palettes and there’s a color bar of the color palette available.
